There are a lot of handheld gaming devices on the market right now, but few feel as carefully thought through as the Steam Deck OLED. It doesn’t try to impress with over-the-top specs or gimmicks — instead, every detail feels intentional. The OLED display is vibrant and immersive, the 90Hz refresh rate makes gameplay incredibly smooth, and the ergonomics make long gaming sessions feel natural.
Whether you’re playing AAA titles or revisiting older, fully optimized games, the Steam Deck OLED delivers an experience that feels polished, refined, and genuinely fun. After spending meaningful time with it, I can confidently say: if you care about well-designed, purposeful tech, this might be one of the best gaming experiences available right now.

Around the Studio
Things continue to take shape here at the studio. The office keeps getting closer to what I’ve always envisioned, thanks to some great brand partnerships along the way. On the business side, I’m focusing more intentionally on building both the Spencer Scott Pugh brand and Form + Function, while stepping back a bit from RVWD and How To Tech Tube. The goal right now is to make better, more focused content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram — and now even LinkedIn.
LinkedIn has been a fun new experiment — not many tech creators are posting there, but I think a lot of the products we cover have value for professionals too, so we’ll see where that goes. As always, I’m thinking a lot about how to build something sustainable, provide for our team, and keep our priorities rooted in Christ as we grow. There’s plenty of inbound interest from brands, and the constant challenge is figuring out which products and partnerships make the most sense to pursue — whether that’s financial, strategic, or just timing a trend well.
It’s a lot to juggle, but we’re having a blast doing it. And I’m excited to keep building a community around all of this. If you have any ideas of how we can build a tighter nit community around the SSP brand, let me know!
All the best,
Spencer

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
